Does this include the ceiling?

No — this is wall paint only. Ceilings are usually a different (flat) finish and are best estimated separately using the room's floor area.

What if my room has more doors and windows?

Increase the openings deduction in the calculator — every extra 1 m² of opening reduces the area to paint by the same amount.

Why two coats?

Two coats is the standard practical minimum for even coverage and colour depth on new or repainted plaster — one coat rarely covers evenly.
