About this tool
Lo-fi Processor applies sixteen one-knob retro character transforms to a sample — VHS, tape, vinyl, FM/AM radio, telephone, walkie-talkie, megaphone, underwater, 8-bit, sample crush, old film, lo-fi hip hop, detune drift and backwards swell — each a tuned chain of filters, saturation, wobble and noise. How to use it

- Turn the single knob to set the amount and dry/wet blend.
- Download the result as WAV, or MP3 with Pro.

How many characters are there?
Sixteen fixed transforms, each tuned to sound like the real thing on the tin.
Noise and crackle are seeded, so the same file with the same settings renders the same bytes every time. Peaks over full scale are pulled back to −0.2 dBFS after the output gain.
