About this tool
Ear Training runs six drills for producers and musicians: note, interval and chord identification on staff, piano keyboard and guitar fretboard views, plus interval ear training, EQ band ear training, and rhythm dictation — the two most web ear-trainers skip. Answer with the on-screen buttons or number keys, track your streak, and share a drill's exact settings by link.

Does EQ ear training need special gear?
No — just headphones or reasonable speakers; it plays a reference tone and an EQ'd version for you to compare.
Staff spelling uses sharps. Fretboard positions are chosen for a tight hand span in frets 0–12 on standard tuning. EQ ear plays pink noise flat for a second, then with a bell boost. Rhythm plays a four-beat count-in, then one bar at 100 BPM.
