About this tool
Track Analyser reads a dropped file's tempo, key and Camelot code, integrated and short-term loudness (LUFS), true peak, loudness range and stereo width, then shows how far you sit from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and club loudness targets. It's built for mastering decisions you'd otherwise need a paid meter or a DAW to see.
How to use it
- Drop in an audio file.
- Read the detected tempo, key and Camelot code.
- Check LUFS, true peak, loudness range and stereo width.
- Compare against the shown streaming and club targets.
FAQ
Is Track Analyser free?
Yes — analysing a track is free and unlimited.
Is my track uploaded to a server?
No — it's decoded and measured entirely in your browser.
How accurate is the key and BPM detection?
Good for a fast read on most mixed tracks; always sanity-check an unusual result by ear.
What loudness targets does it compare against?
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and typical club targets.
Loudness follows ITU-R BS.1770-4 with EBU R128 gating; range follows EBU Tech 3342; true peak is 4× oversampled. Key uses Krumhansl–Kessler profile correlation on a chroma of the whole track, so modulating songs report the dominant key. Platform figures are the published normalisation references; the club row is convention, not a standard.
